When her father sends her to Chicago to give birth, she meets the final narrator, Susan, who is white and the daughter of an anti-choice senator.
Randi Pink grew up in a predominantly white high school in the South. She resides in Birmingham, Alabama, with her husband and two rescue dogs, where she works at a branch of National Public Radio. Her first novel, Into White, is her first foray into fiction.
