Go and Serve by James Williamson
Words for reflection from Jimbo's Stories 1. Life is an adventure. Some good adventures and some bad ones. We learn from them all. 2. The reason I want to write about mission trips is so others will see the need, and the joy in serving. 3. God is in control and he has a job for all of us. 4. Let's all be servants and meet new people and learn new things. 5. Come down, have a life changing experience, go back, and tell others, help people where you are, come back and bring others. I guess I need to write a book (or two or three). I would have to get more concise and say they are fiction, because no one would believe I do all the goofy things I do. James Jimbo Williamson
James Kemp is a Glaswegian with a strong talent for telling stories. He has studied Creative Writing with the open university and also has a BSc from the University of Glasgow. He writes a variety of fiction, non-fiction & poetry. His first published story, Crisis Point, came from taking part in the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) in 2012. He has also written about his experiences as a creative writing student. He has written a novel about genetically modified people due for publication in late 2016 and is in the process of researching for a non-fiction book on late 17th century military history. In his teens he was an active member of the Territorial Army and during that time he ran over a Land Rover, slept out in -15 degrees, blew up stuff and accidentally shelled himself while training as an artillery forward observer. The last of which was the subject matter for his first poem, Bloom. James works full-time as a senior manager in the UK civil service, is married to a fantastic woman, with two kids and is also a school governor & cub scout leader when he isn't writing or editing stories.
