Danny Tobey was born in Texas and is a fifth-generation Texan. He attended Harvard College, Yale Law School, and the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine. Danny was awarded the Edward Eager medal for the greatest creative writing at Harvard. He was anthologized in The Best of the Harvard Lampoon: 140 Years of American Comedy for his work as a writer and editor of the Harvard Lampoon. Danny's debut book was The Faculty Club, a sci-fi fantasy thriller.
Danny is a well-known Artificial Intelligence expert. Danny received the Burton Award from the Library of Congress in 2019 for his work on AI and the law.
