Sociology. She also attained academic distinction as an Honor's Student and
Dean's Scholar. For twenty years, Denise has taught Bible Study, led small groups and worked as a lay counselor.
The Getting to Know God. Series includes six titles. God Answers My Prayers and God Sees Me All the Time, were released in February 1999. God Always Loves Me and God Cares When I'm Sad, were released in February 2000. God is Very Holy and God Knows What's Best for Me, were released in March 2001 and have since been translated into multiple languages. This series had the distinction of being offered as a premium resource in the Focus on the Family magazine for September 2001.
Besides her publishing credits, Denise has also written professionally as Correspondence Assistance for Dr. Dobson at Focus on the Family, and for the National Day of Prayer Task Force.
Denise and her husband Stu live in Colorado and are the parents of four grown children.
