Lender, R. Lane: - R Lane Lender was born and raised in a family with committed Christian parents, Lane remembers having a bookshelf full of good Christian children's books that helped to shape his early understanding of the gospel. While in high school, Lane sensed a calling into full time Christian ministry and after graduation from university, he attended seminary to earn his Master's of Divinity. Having met his lovely wife while attending seminary, the two were married and planted a church in Southern California where Lane pastored the young thriving congregation for 12 plus years. Sensing a call to overseas missions, Lane and his wife moved to the Middle East where they served full time as missionaries in a Muslim country. While living in the Middle East, Lane founded the ministry Stories of Life Productions where he and his partners produced video stories telling the simple gospel message in the heart language of unreached people groups in very difficult places in the world. After 11 years of ministry as missionaries, Lane and his wife returned to the United States where he serves now as a senior pastor in Texas. He also continues to run the ministry Stories of Life Productions that is continuing production on God's Love Story Visual Bible. God's Love Story Visual Bible is a free video evangelism tool that is used on smart phones and cell phones to evangelize and disciple Muslim peoples in very difficult places in the world. As a part of Lane's weekly preaching ministry, he has a 5 minute children's sermon each week for the children of the church. Ministry to children has always been an important part of his full time ministry and the writing of this children's book series is an extension of a lifetime of ministry to families and people of all ages.
