God's way is holiness, but God is also at one and the same time righteous, true, just, loving, gracious, merciful, and good. God's intent is not only that we know these truths about him but that we also know God as a person we can worship, believe in, trust, love, and serve. The proof we want to know God is that we desire in good faith to reflect his ways in our daily lives in everything we think and say and do.
