SUE ELLEN THOMPSON is the author of The Leaving: New and Selected Poems and the editor of The Autumn House Anthology of Contemporary American Poetry, both published by Autumn House Press. She has been a Robert Frost Fellow at the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, Visiting Writer at Central Connectiucut State University, resident poet at The Frost Place in Franconia, New Hampsshire, and Poet-in-Residence at SUNY Binghamton. She lives in Mystic, Connecticut.
