
Macintosh, Donald: - Donald MacIntosh is the eldest son of a Perthshire woodcutter and a mother from the Isle of Mull. After studying forestry in Argyll, he spent 30 years as a tree prospector/surveyor in West Africa, spending months at a time going 'native' deep into the equatorial rainforests. He writes for several publications and is the author of six books.
