Old West, Patty: - Although the name, Patty Old West, may seem fictitious it isn't. In her later years Patty married a British missionary named Ken Old. Two years after his death, she re-met and married Roy West. They graduated from High school together in 1949. It is a fitting name as it reflects the very fact that she was born in the Old West in the mile high city of Denver, Colorado and grew up at an elevation of 8,500 feet in the old gold mining town of Central city.
