The Editor-in-Chief of S.I. is Carol Kronowitz. Focus is an international journal devoted to sensory integration and processing. Kranowitz, a 25-year preschool teacher, has seen many young children with Sensory Processing Disorder. She describes how sensory difficulties play out in her publications and seminars for parents, educators, and other early childhood professionals in the United States and internationally, and she provides enjoyable and functional ways for addressing them at home and at school. She is the author of The Out of Sync Child (2005) and The Out of Sync Child Having Fun (2006), as well as other manuals and books on SPD.
Carol holds an M.A. from Barnard College. The George Washington University has a Ph.D. in Education and Human Development. She is a resident of Bethesda, Maryland.
