Michelle Jing Chan is a queer Chinese American illustrator who grew up in Colorado, where the sounds of rustling pine trees and her parents' bedtime stories lulled her to sleep every night. Books she has illustrated include Moonlight Memories; Lunar New Year; Stay Angry, Little Girl; and Mamie Tape Fights to Go to School. Michelle now lives in the Pacific Northwest and falls asleep to calming audiobooks and the cozy pitter-patter of rain.
