Gorleston by Henry Sutton
As a retired widower, Percy leads a solitary existence in Gorleston, a decaying seaside town. Then he meets Queenie, a flirtatious widow, who becomes his obsession. Percy grows suspicious of Queenie's elusive behaviour and her past, and is forced to look into the shadows of his own life.
Born in Norfolk in 1963, Henry Sutton now lives in London. He has worked as a journalist for The Times, Daily Telegraph, GQ and the European. He has published two previous novels, Gorleston (1995) and Bank Holiday Monday (1996).
