The Gospel of Thomas by Hugh Mcgregor Ross
The Gospel of Thomas is a manuscript from antiquity that records sayings, attributed to Jesus, of rich spiritual content. It lay hidden in the sands of Egypt for over 1600 years. All through that time the text was untouched and not tampered with by any man. What we have are the sayings of a Master, with very little colouration or dilution.
Hugh McGregor Ross has worked with this Gospel for over twenty years, publishing three books on it. Being a Cambridge graduate and a Fellow of his Professional Institution, his career has been mainly in fields of research. His other books are: George Fox Speaks for Himself, Thirty Essays on the Gospel of Thomas and Jesus untouched by the Church: His Teachings in the Gospel of Thomas. He lives in Painswick in Gloucestershire.
