Nicola Henderson (author) writes for the sci-fi and fantasy arts magazine ImagineFX at Future Publishing. Her specialist fields of academic interest veer towards alternative cultural movements, with videogame history, Japanese culture and contemporary feminism being ongoing pursuits. Nicola has held a lifelong fascination with Gothic art and culture, along with an eclectic range of art styles and literature. 
Mick Mercer (foreword) is best known for his reviews and photographs of the goth, punk and indie music scenes and editorship of prolific music magazines Panache and ZigZag.
