Grace and Responsibility by John B Cobb Jr
This first effort at constructive Wesleyan theology to appear in United Methodist circles since the formation of the denomination in 1868 draws on the historical and literary work that has characterized Wesley studies in recent years. Cobb, Jr. is a theologian, philosopher, and environmentalist from the United States. Cobb is a leading figure in the fields of process philosophy and process theology, with over fifty volumes to his credit. He was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2014. Cobb is a co-founder of the Center for Process Studies and a Claremont School of Theology and Claremont Graduate University Professor Emeritus.
