Susan Tietjen was born a California girl but is grateful to have lived on the Oregon coast and to now reside with her husband in the Rocky Mountains of northern Utah. She's raised a tribe of children, making ends meet as a registered nurse and a lactation consultant. She loves to travel and is thrilled with a good movie or a great book, but writing is her passion. She swears she has more stories inside her than she'll live to tell. Dragon Unchained is the first in a fantasy trilogy, and she's very busy writing the big, big third book.
