Grammar and Writing for Standardized Tests -S by Martin Lee

Things don't always turn out the way that we expect them to. Take the world for example; just when humanity thought that it would be destroyed by environmental collapse, the vampires stepped in and took over. Now, the planet is healing, the economy is stable, wars are a thing of the past, and everyone knows who the President will be for the next two hundred years. Of course, death isn't quite as certain as it used to be, but taxes still are-even if they are paid in blood. The only problem is that one of the undead has started kidnapping daytimer girls for his own little blood farm. And in A Kinder, Greener Vampire, it's up to Detective 'Cami' Karnstein of the Los Angeles Nocturnal Police Department, and her human partner, to solve the case before it's too late. Join Martin Schiller and guest author, Thomas Trujillo for this, and other tales of the strange, the supernatural, and the unexpected. Also included: a special preview of Book 4 of the Sisterhood science fiction series; Sisterhood of Suns: Andromeda, and a sneak peek of an entirely new universe, Blackbird: A Warrior of the No-When.
Smith, Martin: - Dr Martin Smith is Senior Lecturer in Forensic and Biological Anthropology at the University of Bournemouth. Martin Smith is a Biological Anthropologist with particular interests in prehistoric populations. His past work has covered a range of periods with particular focus on the Neolithic and concerned principally on areas of taphonomy and trauma with relevance to both forensic and archaeological remains. Martin has strong interests in the study of conflict from prehistoric to modern times. A question that continues to fascinate him is the extent to which war /organized conflict is 'hard-wired' in human beings rather than simply a practical response to environmental or social circumstances. His current research includes experimentation with weapons such as crossbows, blackpowder weapons and modern firearms on animal bone and synthetic substitutes for human bone.
