Rosalynd Pflaum received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in French literature from the University of Minnesota. In 1979 Pflaum was named to the rank of chevalier of the National Order of the Lü¾Ž–”¼gion d'Honneur. She spent several months each year doing extensive historical research in France. She is also author of Talleyrand and His World. She lives in Minnesota.
