Grandad's Journey: A Holocaust Mystery by Bernard S. Wilson follows the quest of an Irish high-school girl, Emma, as she unravels her family's past. Her search takes her to the Mus e de la Shoah in Paris all the way down south to the French concentration camps of Rivesaltes and Argel s-sur-mer. She ends up finding out that her grandfather, who was adopted and had no knowledge of his birth-parents, was a Holocaust survivor whose parents had been deported from Germany and were later sent to Auschwitz where they perished.
