Grape Vines - With Chapters on Pot Culture, Propagation and Varieties by A Ward

This vintage book contains a complete guide to growing grapes, with information on planting, propagation, grafting, tools, growing under glass, varieties, and all other related aspects. Profusely illustrated and easy-to-digest, this volume is recommended for anyone with an interest in growing grapes, and would make for a fantastic addition to collections of fruit growing literature. Contents include: Origin, Culture Under Glass, Pot Culture, Diseases, Outdoor Culture of Vines, Propagation, Seeds, Cuttings, Eyes, Grafting, Layering, Varieties, Alicante, Alnwick Seedling, Appley Towers, Selection of Sorts, et cetera. Many vintage books like this are becoming increasingly rare and expensive. It is with this in mind that we are republishing this volume now in an affordable, high-quality addition complete with a specially commissioned new introduction on cocktail and beverage making.
