Rachel McCoubrie lives in Bristol with her husband and two daughters. She qualified as a doctor in 1995 and works as a Palliative Care Consultant in University Hospitals Bristol NHS foundation Trust. Rachel is also a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner and Coach. As a hobby, she has written poetry and short stories for children for years and is delighted to release The Great Alien Cake Off as her debut book.
