This textbook is an ambitious and engaging introduction to the more advanced writings on company law, primarily designed to allow students to ‘get under the skin’ of the topic and begin to build their critical thinking and analysis skills. Lorraine Talbot is Professor of Company Law in Context at Birmingham Law School, University of Birmingham. She writes and teaches on company law and corporate governance from a law in context approach, with particular emphasis on the political economy of the company.
