Richard has written several books about sustainable travel, including Green Places to Stay (Sawdays) and he was co-author of Clean Breaks: 500 New Ways to See the World (Rough Guides). He was the consultant to the Guardian Green Travel Guide and for the Travel Channel’s series ‘How to Holiday Greener’.
