Robyn Ledwith Mar is a graduate of Stanford University and a breast cancer survivor. She was widowed at age 56 and was asked by her pastor to start a support group for other widows and widowers in the church. Based on her own grief and loss experiences and research into the grieving process, she wrote Grief Recovery, A Workbook for Widows and Widowers to use in the classes. Robyn has been leading groups and counseling the grieving for 20 years. She lives in Los Altos Hills, California with her husband, Mun J. Mar.
