Growing Through Grief by Jenny Landon
Nearly fifteen years after losing her dad to suicide, Jenny Landon was asked by a friend to write a letter of hope letting others know that healing is possible. Three years later, what started as a letter became a published book called Growing Through Grief. Jenny's life experiences and her passion for helping others have compelled her to be voice of compassion and an authority on suicide awareness, healing, and wellness. Multiple chapters in the book include heartfelt exercises based on similar experiences Jenny was exposed to that challenged her and helped her to grow as she moved through the various stages of the healing process. Jenny's hope is that Growing Through Grief will provide support as well as a sense of love and connection to those who've been impacted by mental health struggles. While Growing Through Grief was initially written specifically for survivors of suicide loss, Jenny would recommend it to those who've experienced any type of loss as well as to those who struggle with depression, and to those who are trying to support a loved one who's been impacted by suicide and/or has ongoing struggles with depression.
