A Guide to Extreme Lighting Conditions in Digital Photography by Duncan Evans
The two extremes of lighting where there is far too much light or not enough - are the most challenging aspects of photography. This book removes the need for trial and error by explaining just how to digitally capture the world of high-contrast lighting where the landscape shimmers with light; and the other worldly extreme of low light, where exposures are long, and beautiful visual effects are possible. Structured to cover a wide range of extreme lighting situations, this comprehensive guide also details equipment and specialist digital techniques: from painting with light to controlling reflections and avoiding burn out. Using a broad selection of inspirational images, the creation of each is uncovered step by step to instruct the photographer in mastering any extreme lighting situation.
Duncan Evans is an author and photographer living in the most northerly part of the UK.
