Phil Capone attended the famed Guildhall School of Music in London, where he studied guitar. His many years as a professional musician and teacher have given him a unique awareness and knowledge of the contemporary guitarist's environment, as well as an grasp of the difficulties and frustrations that an aspiring guitarist may confront. Phil is a well-known musician in the London music scene. Phil Capone (GDL M, LGSM) is a graduate of Newcastle College and a postgraduate of the Guildhall School of Music in London. He teaches at the Contemporary Institute of Music Performance in London and is a regular contributor to Total Guitar magazine and Guitar Techniques. He is a regular performer on the London music scene, and his own band has a long-running residency.
