Don Taylor was Bob Marley's manager during the mid-1970s. He was in the singer's house when the pair of them were hit by gunfire from six would-be assassins and was so badly wounded it was thought he was dead. At Marley's side through some of his most important albums, including Natty Dread, there were few closer to the man whose life off-stage was even more colourful than his performance upon it.
