Gunsmoke (#6) by Joseph A West
It's not an adventure if you know everything before it happens Sugarwing Snowflake is making her first flight down to the snowy pines of earth, uncertain what waits for her on the ground below. Luckily lots of other snowflakes are traveling with her, and Sugarwing is relieved that she is not alone as she whirls with the wind through the clouds. From the branches where she finds her perch, Sugarwing can hardly believe her eyes: a man made of snowflakes has drawn all the creatures of the forest out from the woods. The flickering stars and the magic of a midnight moon reveal the greatest surprise of all.
