Mike Roberts is a Buffalo, New York-based writer. James Franco produced his screenplay adaption of Brad Land's memoir Goat, which will premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. King Kelly, his debut screenplay, premiered at the 2012 South by Southwest film festival, was nominated for the Golden Eye at the Zurich Film Festival, and won the Puchon Film Festival's Jury's Favorite Award. The Kill Chain, his stage piece, was part of the Tongues Reading Series at the Cherry Lane Theatre in New York in 2013. He is based in Los Angeles and works there. His debut novel is Cannibals in Love.
