This graphic-novel format edition collects the comics Halo Escalation #1-6.343 Industries' Principal Writer for Halo 4 was Christopher Schlerf. He wrote the first draft of the game's script and continued to write for it alongside the rest of the writing team throughout the development process. He was also the author of Halo: Escalation and the short tale Petra. In November 2013, Chris Schlerf left 343 Industries.
