Happy Death Club by Naomi Westerman

Francois Pierre Guillaume Guizot (1787-1874) was a French historian, orator, and a dominant figure in French politics prior to the Revolution of 1848. Afterward, he turned to literature, including this 8 volume work, Histoire de France racontee a mes petits enfants, which he completed through 1789, and was continued to 1870 by his daughter Madame Guizot de Witt from her father's notes.
Naomi Westerman is a playwright and former anthropologist. As an anthropologist, Naomi studied death rituals around the world, also working on mental health and gender. She is a recipient of the Royal Society of Literature Award, the Michael Grandage Futures Bursary, the Derby Theatre / In Good Co Mid-Career Commission Award, and was a finalist for the Theatre Uncut Political Playwriting Award at the Young Vic. Happy Death Club is her first non-fiction book.
