The Happy Valley A History and Tour of the Hong Kong Cemetery by Ken Nicolson

The book describes the origin and evolution of Hong Kong's oldest Western cemetery garden in the Happy Valley and, by means of a self-guided tour, highlights the need for urgent action to conserve the deteriorating built and natural heritage resources of this important historic cultural landscape.
Ken Nicolson has been working as a landscape architect in Hong Kong since 1984. He is also an adjunct assistant professor to the Architecture Conservation Programme in the Faculty of Architecture, the University of Hong Kong.
