YogaFit, Inc.'s president and founder, Beth Shaw, is the world's largest yoga school. She is regarded as a major specialist in the fields of mind-body fitness, nutrition, and health. Several fitness trends, such as YogaFit, YogaLean, and YogaButt, were created by Shaw. Beth Shaw's YogaFit (Human Kinetics) has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide in its first and second editions. YogaLean was released in 2014 by Ballantine Books/Random House and is quickly becoming a best-seller.

Yoga for Athletes, her next book, will be released in 2016. Shaw and her firm have been featured in Time, Huffington Post, USA Today, O: The Oprah Magazine, Glamour, Washington Post, Self, More, and Entrepreneur, as well as CNN, CBS, NBC, Showtime, and E! She is a certified yoga therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT). She has traveled to India and Asia to study yoga. YogaFit has pledged to provide $1 million worth of free yoga training to individuals in need. Her non-profit, Visionary Women in Fitness, awards scholarships to female athletes.
