What started as a blog on the author's website has become a book. Not that Nanna intended it that way. The idea developed along with the work. HEART: Musings and messages for, and from, the heart at a time when consciousness is being called to evolve. HEART: A wanting to offer empathy and mirroring to a heart feeling wounded, grieving or lost. As well as to a heart feeling blessed by beauty, inspiration, and love. HEART: A desire to feel in the moment, grace it with presence, and share poems and reflections, from a writing life. Cherishing the heart, especially in troubled times, is the essence of this work. As it went along Nanna found it was as if the work itself was offering her heart a chance to awaken, and invite wisdom to arise. Sensing it might offer others a similar inspiration, she found herself ready to turn the writing into a book.

: Nanna Aida Svendsen is an explorer and mapmaker of the inner realms, writer and poet. Her passion is linking consciousness with the heart and feeling into the emergent, naming where consciousness wants to evolve, and what might be getting in the way: something she likes to do on her blog, in her writing, in poetry readings, and in the soul time groups she runs. Born in England, she grew up in Denmark, lived in the US for many years and currently makes her home with her husband in Sweden. Her book Of Water Liles and Warm Hearts has been translated into Swedish by Eva Sanner, and many of the poems in this book have been translated in to Swedish by Asa Leander.
