The story of the excavation and the information it revealed about the history of London are told through a montage of text and a large number of illustrations.
Peter Rowsome led the Museum of London's excavations at Poultry. He has supervised several other important excavations of Roman and medieval London, as well as digs in Italy and the Middle East. He is presently a Senior Project Manager at the Museum of London Archaeology Service.
