Ed Burnette is the editor of eclipse.org's articles section and the author of the Rich Client Platform (RCP) Tutorial series. Ed is also the co-author of Eclipse in Action (Manning) and the webmaster of eclipsepowered.org, where he can frequently be seen in the Eclipse community forums. Since getting a Bachelor of Science in computer science from North Carolina State University, he's built everything from multi-user servers to compilers to commercial video games. He works for SAS as a Principal Systems Developer and lives in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina.
