Margaret teaches storytelling at the University of Washington and has been a children's librarian since 1965. I Had a Hen, I Had a Chick is her first title for Barefoot. Sophie Fatus is a full-time illustrator and sculptress, who studied at the prestigious Academy of Fine Art in Paris.
