Her publications include Whoever Finds This: I Love You (1988), Her Face in the Mirror: Jewish Women on Mothers and Daughters (1995), A Leak in the Heart (2002) and Peace in the House (2003). She is represented in dozens of anthologies, her poems, essays and short stories have been published in such places as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Moment Magazine, and the Jerusalem Post. She teaches creative writing and Jewish American Literature at George Washington University.
