In the J. Paul Getty Museum, Paul Martineau has curated a number of exhibitions. Herb Ritts: L.A. is the author or collaborator of Paul Getty Museum's Herb Ritts: L.A. Robert Mapplethorpe: The Photos (Getty Publications, 2016), and The Thrill of the Chase: The Wagstaff Collection of Photographs at the J. Paul Getty Museum (Getty Publications, 2012). Getty Publishing published the Paul Getty Museum in 2016.
