In addition to his role as publisher of Ulysses Press, he has written for the Chicago Tribune, Saturday Evening Post, San Francisco Chronicle and Travel & Leisure. A member of the Society of American Travel Writers, he lives in the San Francisco Bay area with his wife, co-publisher Leslie Henriques, and their son Keith and daughter Alice.
