High Hopes by Ronnie Corbett

A true great of British comedy, Ronald Ronnie Corbett, is hailed as one of the finest comedians of his generation. Son of an Edinburgh baker, Ronnie rose to fame as one half of the infamous Two Ronnies alongside Ronnie Barker.
Comedian, actor, writer and broadcaster, Ronnie Corbett began his career in show business in the early 1950s. Before long, he found himself being offered roles in sitcoms, films and family shows. But his big break came when he joined The Frost Report alongside David Frost and John Cleese. It was here he met Ronnie Barker, and in 1971, The Two Ronnies were launched, becoming a national institution until they called it a day in the mid-eighties. Becoming something of a national treasure, Ronnie continued working in the TV industry into his 80s. He sadly passed away in March 2016.
