Slocum, Kay Brainerd: - Kay Slocum is professor of history and Gerhold Professor of Humanities at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, where she specializes in Gothic period and has a particular interest in medieval music. A winner of two university-wide teaching awards, Professor Slocum has also written numerous articles. Her most recent publication, a study of the liturgies composed for Thomas Becket, is forthcoming with the University of Toronto Press.
