History of Rome, Volume XIII by Livy
The only extant work by Livy is part of his history of Rome from the foundation of the city to 9 BC. Of its 142 books, 110, 2145 (except parts of 41 and 4345), fragments, and short summaries remain. His history is a source for the De Prodigiis of Julius Obsequens.
Alfred Cary Schlesinger (1900–1993) was Professor of Ancient History at Oberlin College.
