Michael McKinley is a journalist, documentary filmmaker, and screenwriter who is the author of Putting a Roof on Winter and The Magnificent One: The Mario Lemieux Story. He was born in Vancouver and attended the University of British Columbia and Oxford University. His work has appeared in the Guardian, Sports Illustrated, the Los Angeles Times, and the National Post, among other publications in England, the United States, and Canada. He's also written and produced multiple CNN documentaries, as well as a South Park episode. Suzanne Lévesque earned a Bachelor's Degree in German Studies and a Master's Degree in Translation from l'Université de Montréal after studying Physical Education.
She also studied Linguistics at Saarbrücken University in Germany. She has been a freelance translator since 1988, specializing in administrative, legal, advertising, tourist, and other industries. Tundra Publications has published both adult and juvenile fiction on various occasions. She spends her free time in Montreal, where she grew up, enjoying tennis, cycling, and skiing.
