Kristen Held is a member of Sisters in Crime as well as the SCBWI. She spent six months working with drydenbks editor Emma D. Dryden as part of the famed Nevada SCBWI Mentor Program created by Ellen Hopkins and Suzanne Morgan Williams. Kristen has also focused on writing for young adults in workshops with Ally Carter and Lisa Yee, as well as master classes with editor Cheryl Klein, and mystery writer Elizabeth George.
