The Holocaust by R Gordon Grant
This book begins with a brief history of the persecution of Jews before looking at Hitler's takeover of Germany, the introduction of anti-Semitic laws, the Holocaust itself, from the viewpoint of both victims and perpetrators, to finally its discovery by the outside world and what followed.
Reg Grant trained as an historian at Oxford University. He then worked as a language teacher in Paris and Lisbon before returning home to become a freelance writer. His books for Hodder Wayland include several volumes in the New Perspectives series.
