The Holy Spirit Handbook by Bill Dixon

The search was on. Libraries were scoured. Old books were read. The Holy Spirit was under the spotlight like never before. Nobody had experienced the seismic upheaval the church was undergoing. The Apostles wrote the New Testament out of their living experience and saw thousands upon thousands of people being swept daily into the Kingdom of God. The same thing is happening today. Wherever the Holy Spirit is restored in the church, revival and renewal is breaking out. The Holy Spirit Handbook by Bill Dixon combines Bible passages with modern day power encounters. It will be invaluable to those who want to discover what the Holy Spirit is doing today. 'The Holy Spirit Handbook is biblical, practical, and road tested ' Professor Allan Heaton Anderson 'Bill writes with insight about the work of the Holy Spirit. Read on and discover how the Holy Spirit can transform your life' Andrew McNeil, Senior Pastor, Birmingham Vineyard Also by Bill Dixon, 'Another Egypt'
Bill Dixon grew up in the rural Cotswolds, when the sight of a car was a rare thing. He prepared for the Baptist Ministry at Bristol Baptist College and studied theology at Bristol University. He led churches in Bristol and inner city Birmingham for forty years, also serving on the Prison Parole Board and as Chairman of Mercian Housing Association. After getting Prime Minister Harold Wilson involved with a community regeneration initiative in Birmingham, Bill turned his attention to the growth of the local church. He was instrumental, with others, in introducing the Vineyard Church to Birmingham. This led to a sabbatical at Newport Beach, California, followed by extensive travel in South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique, Siberia, Iraq, Albania, and Lebanon, to deliver mentoring projects. Bill remains a trustee of Birmingham Vineyard Church. He is married to Jennifer and they have one remaining son, Peter.
