Home Sewn by Cassandra Ellis

Divided into three sections - Eating & Sharing, Living and Resting - Home Sewn provides a range of practical soft furnishing projects dedicated to activities around the home. Items are gorgeous, but also useful, with both style and functionality. From leather placemats, a painted canvas floor cloth, to a linen ottoman, rustic linen pendant shades and a gathered antique lace valance, the ideas use a wide range of fabrics. With heirloom items as well as simple but effective creations, these projects will help create a striking interior in any home.
Cassandra Ellis is a designer and maker of high-end quilts and homewares. Originally from New Zealand, she now runs her own design studio in her home in Peckham Rye where she teaches contemporary craft and interiors workshops. Her stunning designs are stocked by leading retailers, including Liberty of London, and she works directly with clients on commissions and interior design projects. Cassandra's work has been featured in Elle Decoration, House & Garden, Easy Living and Red. She is the author of Cloth, published by Kyle Books in 2013.
