Homemade Face Mask by Alex Green
Every child learns to count from 1 to 10. But not every teaching method also doubles as a nonfiction introduction to the growth cycle of an animal Young readers will count along from a single nest and two caring parents as three baby songbirds eat, open their eyes, test their toeholds, take time to grow flight feathers, and finally leave the nest together. Numerals accompany the text on each spread to further reinforce the counting concept and encourage association with the different forms.
